冯教授1997年于中国药科大学获得博士学位，先后就职于中国药科大学、上海中医药大学，曾作为高级研究学者在美国普渡大学工作，现任药剂教研室主任，国家中医药管理局中药制剂三级实验室主任，上海市精品课程《中药药剂学》负责人。入选上海市“曙光学者”、教育部新世纪优秀人才、上海市优秀学科带头人。
冯教授主要从事中药药剂学的教学与科研工作，承担完成国家和省部级科研课题及企业合作项目若干项，以及多个新药的产业化开发。在国内外学术期刊发表论文200余篇；主编教材和著作多部；申请国内外发明专利50余项，授权10余项。任世界中医药学会联合会经皮给药专业委员会副会长、中国中药协会科技交流与合作专业委员会副主任委员、中国民族医药学会经皮治疗专业委员会副会长等学术职务，Asian J Pharm Sci、Curr Drug Deliv等期刊编委。曾获霍英东基金会全国高校青年教师奖、中华医学科技奖、上海市科技进步奖、中华中医药学会科学技术奖、明治生命科学奖等奖励。
